Did it run good for a long time and then start to miss and sputter and then clear back up for a long time before doing it again?

Also, to all the guys suggesting the crank sensor.
I tihnk I'll go ahead and change that.
If I recall, they are not that expensive.
I hate to keep throwing money into it cause I've already spent so much $ on it.
It been a great truck up to this point.
