When i went to use the winch it drained the battery. I found out quickly that when the generator is running it is NOT charging the battery. There is a plug with a bunch of cut off wires running off the generator. Anyone know how i can get it to charge the battery? LOL.... same identical unit I have... I have a plug going to my trailer(gen is mounted in the bed of the truck)... and I have a battery charger plugged in for the gen battery... works great..... Oh by the way there is NO charging circuit on that gen... dont ya just love it.... that gen was for a motor home and it used the motor home batteries
