you will need t ofind a v 8 center link for the 62,,,or the 3.9 will sit up kinda high to clear the center link,,,you can find them on e bay or another mopar site some times that deals with those early A bodies called for A-bodies only,

the dropped center link would fit 1964 65 66 only,valiant,dart,barracuda only,,,

the 1987 dakotas had 3.9 with a carb,,would be much easier then all the computer crap,,,i knew of a guy when i lived in ill he lived in the joliet area had a 1962 lancer or valiant??? with a 340 that was back in the early 1980s it can be done
