Thanks, Robert. So, I want to keep the carb fairly stock right? Is that because of the fact that this particular carb (MO 4966S) is originally designed for a big block and I'm putting it on a mildly modified small block? What does bigger jets do for a carburetor? Whats the difference between 2 step and 3 step rods. And will the Eddy parts fit the carter? Sorry for all the "dumb" questions but carburetor science has always been a mystery to me. I can muddle my way through about any rebuild but altering performance factors is my weak suite.
