IIRC, the kickdown was on the opposite end of the TB from the throttle/cruise cables, using the same bracket. You might be able to whip up a tidy little bracket to mount on the trans and use the Maggie cable to pull on the 727 lever.




I used the Bouchillon kickdown cable kit (which I think is just late 90s Ram Van cable). Scratch made the brackets from some sheet aluminum. Found an old pic from PHR.
