Ive got to change the intake manifold on my 440. I have a dual feed Holley and the fast idle adjustment interferes with the pad for the stock choke so I had to remove it, thus no fast idle with the choke and a very smelly, plug fouling warm up cycle. Also, the coil will not mount in the stock location with the huge dual feed bowl in the way.

I can pick up a CH4B from a friend cheap. I would prefer a Performer RPM later on when I change the cam. How much of a gain over the stock manifold is the CH4B? I know it was replaced with the regular Performer which no one seems to like but people seem to like the CH4B. Anyone have any experience going from a stock to the CH4B?
