I knew a guy who bought a 318 dodge truck with one and a 650 eddy. The truck had 4.10 or 4.56 gears so it had to rev but that motor seemed like it was done at 3000rpm, the intake probably wasn't entirely at fault, but it certainly didn't help.
I've also seen various dyno sheets that showed it really had no advantage down low and gave up torque big time from the mid range on up.

I have never heard or seen an SP2P being "done" at 3000 rpm ....but since the ports of that intake are so small .. I would put-the-blame MOSTLY on that intake. But I will also bet that the guy you knew didn't try and massage that combo much .. if not at all.

Your dyno sheets ? ..... I would like to see those showing what you allege. And wasn't there a "dyno topic" here about a week or so ago that claiming an nicely-built A engine(but nothing fantastic) making something-like 850 horsepower ?

Do you KNOW what the purpose and the design of the SP2P was for ?
