One other option- put it together with what you have, and have fun, meanwhile advertising it for sale and collecting the right parts for what you want.
Personally, I favor the lowdeck combos, even for the street. a well done pumpgas 512 can put out very serious power, and be lighter than a 440 block motor. Also, any headers that will fit an iron head 440 combo will fit on a 400 based- raised exhaust port head combo, like a 440-1 head on a 400 block.
