I agree. You want to build a solid foundation first, leave the heads till later due to them being crack prone. If that happens, you aren't out much. If you go heads first, your choice of gears and converter will probably be different. So you save there. Basically, the low end torque of the stroker will be close between the iron heads and the aluminum heads. The shift point will rise and the hp will go up. Also, you will have an animal on the street with the extra cubes, even with iron heads.
In the end, stroker Vs stock the stroker will be faster with either heads.
