Lot of people would be disappointed in thinking the 440 vs 500 is big gains given the same other parts and topend. The 3.75 stroke will get it done with the correct heads. Stock heads ported heads even pro done will usually make a great tow motor with a long arm....
In a nut shell you would be narrowing the power band, which IMO is counter productive in a racey type build.
Fact is the two same engines will have similar power outputs given the same parts in this type motor.
Well the stroker might make a little more mid range, but suffer from topend Asama for breathing with stock heads.
