.01 ??? that would mean one side was 9.601 and the other was either 9.611 or 9.591 , thats a HUGE descrepency

Bore and square decking are in that block near future . The pistons will not be oversize enough for you to hone out the cylinders straight and round again , bore clearance is built into the piston .

Was looking at my notes the crank to bank measurement was 9.601 on the left and 9.599 on the right
