Very nice Pyper! Dialing in the CH28 is much easier than the 6 pack. I ran 2 500s on my street duty challengers. Used a direct linkage-1 to 1 as recommended by an Eddy tech. With my 509 cam the step up springs needed to be changed out. Im sure my set ups were not optimized for the strip but man they did not miss a beat! The sound of all 8 barrels gettin it on is a wonderfull sound. This setup is no sluch. Many are quick to condemn it. I believe this set up is not the compromise that the Offenhauser 2x4 proved to be in Dulcichs 383 intake dyno shootout. On a 440 the manifold is rated to 6000rpm. Many on this board who have big cammed 440s find they run there best times shifting under six grand- despite their cam being capable of 6000 plus rpm.

Keep old mopars alive.
