I took my VFN hood out of the box and we set it right on the car. The ONLY thing we did to this hood was to install the Dzus fasteners. NO BODYWORK.
Same here, I did need to bond my own cowl to my hood. That was my fault though, I had a Harwood scoop already and when we put it on the VFN hood it looked too small and out of purportion. So I ordered one of VFN's 6" outlaw scoops and all is good now. Steve
