Here's what I'm building which is a duplicate of a combo we ran years ago and I'm recycling some of the parts from that engine....

440 +.030 using flat top slugs- 9.7 compression
452 heads that have been ported and using the larger valves
steel crank and rods
Mopar 296/557 cam
750 Holley
Edelbrock TM-7
2" headers.
When the funds allow it,I will switch to Edelbrock heads.

It went 11.30's in a 71 Demon with a race converter and too much gear.I think 383 man has basically the same engine in a 63 Plymouth and his runs very well too.
