just an update, i got the shielded wire from msd and attached it and grounded it to a dedicated isolated area with the crank trigger with the low mount alternator from east coat electric and the car was breaking up real bad, shooting ducks down the track, i switched back to the distributor pickup and the problem went away.
so my question is could the sensor have gone bad, or do they just quit working. this crank sensor is brand new.
or is the interference from the alternator still the problem?
