I have a similar setup on both trucks....Just used good wire & ran it from the battery of the truck back to the rear bumper & terminated it with a lift truck type electrical connector.. about $8.00 a piece. Have a lead from the winch with the same deal so it can be disconnected & then to keep the road grime out of the connector when the truck is being driven just sealed another connector with silicone & some dielectric grease. Dont forget the breaker between the battery & the long run to the back of the truck.
One thing I do have is the winch mounted on a reciever type hitch so it can connect to the trucks or the trailer... Really came in handy this winter when I got hung up in the snow. Grabbed onto a big tree with the winch & poof... Self recovery.
