I recently broke in my first solid lifter camshaft (Comp Cams .520 244/252) and using Crane 1.5 Gold rockers. All set up by engine builder.

I hear a lot of "clacking" going on in the engine. I broke in the cam with the proper oil/additives and all went well. Changed the oil after break in with Valvoline Racing 20/50 racing oil.

The engine seems fine, has plenty of power, just is a little noisy. Is this to be expected with solid lifter cams?
