I have been trying to learn about turbo setups of late.

After too much time spent on the various turbo oriented forums, it is interesting to see that there are so many cars that have switched over to glides to exploit the the turbo loading/spooling effect. Many of those cars have gone way down(numerically) in rear gear also.

Some switched from their 3(-4-5-6) speeds for the spooling, some for traction woes, others for parts carnage / reliability.

At 1500 hp, it would seem you should have plenty of power to run a PG.

Get a 'glide with a brake, a two-step limiter, use a good converter.

Overall, this is cheaper, easier and probably the most safe.
