An easy YES Race gas $9.25/gallon, E85 $2.29/gallon. That pays for the conversion in short order. And E85 runs a little cooler. I changed more than just the carb, so my ET is not a direct fuel comparison. I estimate the E85 was 0.15 faster than gas, and methanol was another 0.15 faster than E85 in hot summer weather. The differences get smaller in colder air.
