I thought there was a torque limit on the bolts....you don't want to tighten them to the point of stretch....you will weaken them....I would think the locktite and proper torque would be OK....
Its the way I do it, 7/16 fine thread bolt has a pretty good torque to it and I'm sure I dont get near stretching it.... never had any come loose doing it this way
