Most of the problems are when using the factory exhaust manifolds my hand built system with factory manifolds, x pipe, dynomax Hemi mufflers 20" case, flowmasters tailpipes to tips, did the same thing as the original poster describes, i installed magnaflow resonators made of SS with SS packing, now very quiet !!
