drill and tap the back of the pivot shaft and bolt and put a washer on it so the LCA can't off..I thought you had done that by your first post.the LCA will move up and down free..If you weld it it will not...it realy is not going to move that much anyhow..never-seize..on everything there would be good..This has been talk about here before and turns in to a pissing match about it..some of us racers have got together and held a LCA in our hands..and talk about it. for a race car you need a free moving front end..welding makes it very stiff. and not good for a drag car.
