But with torsion bars, the socket and the LCA pivot as a unit because of the preload that is placed on the socket by the adjusting bolt. The movement is with the bushing and the torsion bar itself. With no torsion bars, I would think you'd have to drill and tap the back of the pivot shaft and bolt the LCA socket to the pivot, which would hold the socket solid. Then the LCA would constantly rub against the socket as the suspension cycled.

I'm really just thinking outloud though. I'm really just trying to free up some header space for my BB 66 dart build.
