So, I have an AMC 904 and it has a small metal fluid line coming out of the rear of the casing heading up towards the engine compartment. I plan on picking up an AMC 727 tomorrow from a guy two towns over and the pictures show it has the same metal line. These lines are not the typical cooling lines so what the heck is it??? I'm hoping I can block it off and ignore it.

I posted this question on the AMC forum and gotten a few ideas but nothing solid so let's see if the Mopart forum is smarted than the AMC forum
