A fairly useless article. No mention of what they might be going into. Such as 3/4 tons and larger perhaps? Which would match my claim. Not too much serious towing being done by half tons, mostly they are show poodles.
There are several other articles detailing the new GM V8 if you don't like that one....all of which claim it's destined for light truck and SUV use. You can choose to accept or deny whatever you want from them.

I will choose to spend my money accordingly.
