I think after 40 years of “nothing but Mopar” I’m officially done.
They offer nothing of interest to wifey & I for our next daily driver, so we are for the first time looking elsewhere.
And the lack of a V8 Ram means we will be doing something different for our business shop truck next year as well….
If you think a V8 is going to be an option in other trucks, it won't be for long. At least for half tons anyway. My new brand C work truck has a turbo 4 and it gets along as well as the 6.0 the 3/4 ton had before it. Only thing I dislike, well specific to the 4, is the turbo whine, makes it sound like an 18 wheeler. This ain't my first turbo motor, but it is the first to be noisy like that.
