Seems like he thinks he can buy a rust free roller, roll it through a body shop + chassis shop + wheels and tires and still somehow profit when selling at $24,000. As stated, cool concept but doesn't sound like he's done his homework


I sold my Duster for $25K last summer. It was running, driving, legit 10 second street car with low deck 512, EFI, Ford 9 inch, 13 inch brake rotors, 17 inch rims, etc. Most of the parts were new, body was clean with all bodywork done but no final paint. I think a shop could sell a roller for something in the high 20's and make money but they would need a supply of clean rollers coming in the door. Might be able to do a few cars a year at that price but wouldn't be a volume business since the supply of original cores has pretty much dried up.
