If the re-pops are like the OEM mirrors, you are going to have tape the mirror and cable after you pull it through far enough to get paint inside the housing if it is a driver side adjustable mirror. You can't get the adjuster mechanism through the mirror housing. The individual adjuster cables are swedged on after the cable is inserted through the mirror housing.
