You can put transmissions in them, I believe the Porsche Taycan is a 2 speed. Its also very early in the game, if they see people are bored and want sticks, they'll offer them. These motors can be quite loud too, I've heard electric dirt bikes that sound like muffled 2 strokes. They have that option too
Ok - i just found made a one-off electric Mustang with a 6 speed. The lack of desire for manuals in anything these days makes me doubt it will happen - low sales of manual C7 vettes led Chevy to not design one into the C8. But maybe aftermarket will - who knows?
A lot of the purpose of it in the Taycan deals with top speed, an issue with electrics
