If memory serves, isn't that a Slant-6 car ? I think it was pretty much his daily driver. I'd just smoke it over a bit checking fluids, maybe bring a ballast resistor and a few small tools for good luck... As you enter the drier areas of the Country, maybe shop a place or two for some sheet metal ? Have a safe trip, check out some 2-lanes & small towns.
