So this build is nearing completion, and the person assembling the top end has some concerns.
It is an Indy Maxx aluminum block, lifter bores are not bushed, they are aluminum. With the 861-16 lifters he thinks that the lifters cannot receive oil to feed the pushrods with just the lifter to lifter bore clearance. He thinks that the lifter bores needs to be drilled to feed the lifter. I said that they don't.

It was planned to use cup style adjusters and ball/ball pushrods, but he insists that will not work, that we need ball adjuster and cup/ball pushrods, as the pushrod oiling will not work without a pressurized oil feed hole in the lifter bore to feed the lifter.

Is there something I am overlooking in this?
