People have been sitting around in front of a fire since the dawn of man, I don't think it's going to change anytime soon.

Have you tried actually talking to the neighbor about it?

Unless there's an ordinance about people using fire pits, there's probably nothing you can do.


Where we live which is rural, some people burn their trash rather than have it picked up. (it's legal)

The other evening we got to smell burning trash and burning plastic, now that's an awful smell.
