I have factory diagram/prints right down to the actual assy line rigs used to hold/install the E body glass along with the procedures to be used on the assy line from 70-71, no such mention of an items, perhaps it's for another model?, sometimes FSM's use generic pics? or group in other models/methods in their text...

So much for the "factory" "Bible" prints being "absolute". Colleague sent me pic of challenger rear glass mldg with said "spacer" installed. Also noted that this part shows up in parts catalog in Strip-Form, cut to length. Also said, these were probably discarded if glass was ever replaced. Oh-Well
