Yes. Those are thin spacers that are underneath window mouldings for the back window. I have them on my original back window mouldings on my 68 Dodge Coronet 2 door hdtp.
They are black about 1/16th of an inch thick and the width of the moulding. Agree with Challenger Steve about its purpose to minimize rattles. Probably keeps the window from getting scratched by the moulding.
Then I guess that pic in FSM does apply to e-bodies.
Probably applied to both font/rear glass also.
Be nice to find reference to them in parts catalog.
So because "I never saw it" doesn't seem to always apply.
