Lots of people living off the grid in Eastern Arizona. Tin foil hat wearin, black helicopter people, you name it.
I don't think I could live in a desert. My wife lived in El Paso for 18 years, I just don't think I could do it.
It’s not desert, elevation varies 6000 to 7000 feet. Winters it snows. Area is about 75 to 100 miles from NM.
Hey man, this whole state is a desert. Burnt dirt, rocks and cacti. The only grass you'll see is not native to the region. If it weren't for family and my Wife, I'd move someplace cooler and greener.
