They didn't make me....I did it voluntarily! I was 56 before I had a kidney stone attack. My wife and I had just bought our place in Myrtle Beach and were about 2 months into the remodeling. We had worked like dogs all day, and I'm sure I was dehydrated. We went to Outback for dinner that night, and I bet I drank a half gallon of sweet tea! That night, I woke up in horrible pain, and thru up from what felt like somewhere down near my toenails! After I had been to my doctor back home, and then to my urologist....who told me tea (sweet or unsweet) helped form kidney stones. Right then and there I vowed to never drink another drop. He told me it was a lifetime accumulation, and not the 1/2 gallon I drank the night I had the attack. Don't care.....never drinkin another drop!!
