I looked at a bunch of slide in campers, and based on their square footage, they are the most costly to buy with the highest depreciation if buying new.

Not to mention, the one I wanted, the American Hero for flatbeds was discontinued and started at $30k.....

I would have gone that rout if they still had those available and switched to a long bed truck.
