For the PRO-TOURING scene, IMO, its more "artwork/design" rather than performance... and image rather than proven function.

I'd lean towards a B-body (any year) for comfort (front and rear seating room, trunk storage space, longer wheelbase, etc).

Properly modified stock suspension setups will almost always out-perform the expensive and radical non-stock setups (ie: coil springs, 4-links, etc).
