And as far as copper vs platinum, there is a big difference. If you use copper in place of platinum, you’ll burn the plugs up in no time at all because the ignition burns so hot. Platinum might work ok in place of copper, but the ignition isn’t as strong and may not give a hot enough spark.

Haven’t called the dealer about it, but the part store websites only list platinum or iridium, so I can’t see the factory using copper.
