Glad to hear it ran well Markz.
I have ran pertronix in quite a few vehicles over the years with no problems. They were used in work vehicles that got a lot of use everyday. Was better than points. Yup I said points! In the early eighties I was still working on gasoline fueled V8 engines in international tanker trucks. I adjusted/replaced points dozens and dozens of times on 4-5 trucks, then pertronix was a dream come true. Set it one time and forget it. No more dwell changes that happens with points.
The only time I had trouble was on a lift/fork truck. I left the key on by accident without it running and it burns up the modgel. Found out about that the hard way. Other than that it has been a reliable ignition for me. up
