Part of the problem with foam is you have no way of knowing how much fuel you have in the tank. No fuel gauge ( unless you go outside the tank with a clear tube ) and you can't visibly see the fuel level. So you use a stick to check the fuel level. Stick goes right in to the foam. Not good! You break the foam up just a little bit, and your dead meat.


Looking at the offerings on Summit's page they do show cells with foam and a sending unit.
