I thought I'd seen it all.... That has to be a manufacturing fault. No "normal" cause of failure would have done that. I've seen it countless times....... And worse. Ditto. A friend had a 400 of unknown origin that he wanted to throw a cam in. It was running but weak when we pulled it apart. The cam bearings looked even worse!
