Me thinks the rear shackles are going past center(straight up and down) when it leaves and that will make the rear unload causing the hopping
Is there any way you can video the back of the car by the rear springs, Go Pro camera maybe, to see if that is happening or not?
I've seen that same problem on more than one A body drag car
