Hey Cab,

I'm the obnoxious talks to much neighbor of yours to the south in Klamath County. The shop teacher from Woodburn's Mopar Meet last year.

Anyways, here is what I know:

The actual clearance is .720 on both Intake and exhaust without seals

The exhaust seal is more like a "washer" with rounded edges on the outside. It is quite a bit thinner

The intake is a typical rubber seal that goes down and fits fairly tightly around the top of the guide.

In my estimation, these are stock seals. They came out of the fel-pro box and fit fine.

And to answer the obvious question, why don't I take them to the machine shop. Well money is part of it, time is part of it, and I like to do things myself where I can.

Maybe I need some slightly taller retainers?

I will say that my current seat pressure matches my cam exactly and so forth.

Thanks, ROB
