Yes we used to at the shop I helped out at{freinds place} used it after stripng cars to bare metal. but we sanded it with 80 first. so i giess it had a chemical and machnical adheasion.
Just don't leave it out to get wet since ther is no epoxy under it to seal the metal 100%
Nothing at the shop got epoxy ecept a few thongs we did for ourself that was going to be a long long time before it was 100% done
Jobs came in and went right back out and never sat outside in rain or anything
