Greg, I am currently tearing it down myself... I have found some other issues to make me never deal with Stanton Racing ever again. I don't even have the pistons I was told were being used.... they did install a .010" shim under the block side of the seal. However they are using Felpro seals. I've also discovered rod bearing scoring on 6 of 8 rods. This motor only has a 1000 miles on it at best. With the oil and filter changed twice in that time. The piston installed and the ones I was told was installed are 1 full point of compression lower. I.e.... I'm at 9.5-1 instead of the 10.2-10.5 I was told it would be. Just a very bad experience.
