Very nice monte, thanks for sharing. Crazy how us old timers had to modify crap and we enjoyed doing it sooooo much. I still have a hard time getting rid of the old parts and sometimes walk over to the shelf just to make sure they are still safe. I finally sold off my Old TRW pistons a few years ago but still have my 906 heads that ran 9.82 on my stock crank, stock rod 440 and 3 old 750 lift roller cams. It would brake my heart to sell them. Lol
Not me, I let that junk go if somebody wants it...........LOL!!! I usually never had a problem selling parts off of, or motors out of my cars and don't hold on to old parts I know I will never use. Still have my dads last Super Stock intake setup and tunnel ram from 63, but rest is pretty much gone. Could probably dig out a SS roller cam or two.............My dad on the other hand had a barn full of old stuff over there. All the old race motors were gone, but still a lot of parts over there that I haven't had a chance to go through yet
