the Mopar rod size rods with the 4.25 stroke made the H beam steel rods hit a 1/2 pick up on the last one I did I do have a 400 motor with a 4.30 stroker with BB Chevy H beam rods that I run a 3/8 internal pickup with no apparent oiling issues so far shifting at or above 7000 rpm at the track and and on the street so I have another motor with the Mopar rods sizes, 4.375 stroke and Manley H beam steel rods, there is no way the internal would work so it has a external dual line system on it The 4.4 crank with the BB Chevy rod size is a crap shoot in my book, if you got the parts mock it up, if not its your choice. It sounds like your trying to save money, if I was you I would buy one of 440 Sources balanced kits, 4.375 stroker with 10.5 to 1 compression and sell all of the other parts and get started
