I would like to know from the guys who build them which setup would you run and why?Which will need more clearancing?I would like to stay with an internal pickup. The motor will never see 6000rpm(unless I am feeling stupid).

I have a 4.40 stroke crank for use with chevy rod journals and a 6.70 chevy rod that will work with my pistons.

I have rods and pistons for a 4.25 stroke crank with mopar rod journals.I can get the crank from K1 technologies from DRAM if I go that route.

The motor will be pump gas friendly with ported E heads and either a solid or hyd roller if I can find the extra money.Induction will be a street dominator with 850 holley or possibly a tunnel ram with 2 750's.

It will be in a heavy c body with 3.55 gears and a custom converter to match the setup once it is decided. The goal is a torque monster with whatever hp shows up.Shifting likely from 5000-5500 depending on setup.

I know I need more head flow and could use a bigger carb/intake but if I go with a single four it has to stay under the hood.

With the exception of the crank(if I go 4.25),rods(if I go 4.40),cam,and converter I have all of the other parts ready to go.

I may upgrade to some sr heads waaay down the line but I have to run what I have for now.
EDIT:compression will be 10.5-1 +/- .25

Thanks
