Kurt just got burned out. That pic was the way I found out he closed. Driving out to Rays and stopped to see what was going on as phone was off. All his equipment was sold to a local guy and loaded in that trailer. And the garbage was ever so efficiently packed in that dumpster!!

He could more with less than most people I knew. I remember talking to him about your car BigCube, and he told me some stories about the build. And very few stories were good!! He hated door cars. Wanted to do Funny Cars and the funny story was he got his wish. The last car he built was an alky f/c for Annie Whitely. Drove him over the edge and shut the doors as soon as it left...
